Maternal, Newborn & Child Health

Strategic Vision & Core Approach

HPAC works to improve the quality, accessibility, and continuity of sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (SRMNCAH) services. Our approach recognizes these areas as interconnected across the life course and prioritizes integrated solutions that address barriers from community to facility and to timely, respectful, and evidence-based care. We use digital tools, implementation research, health-system strengthening, and community engagement to improve access to information, referrals, service delivery, follow-up, and quality improvement.

Addressing Critical Challenges & Impact

Our work addresses critical challenges including maternal and newborn complications, adolescent health, HIV, family planning, gender-based barriers, and fragmented services. By generating evidence and translating it into practice and policy, HPAC contributes to stronger health systems that deliver equitable, high-quality SRMNCAH services.
